Elissa Slotkin Instagram – Yesterday’s news of violence over food delivery in Gaza highlights again how dire the humanitarian situation is there, and how important it is that we get the ceasefire deal that negotiators from all sides are working on.
I and so many in Congress have been urging the White House privately and publicly to use all available means to get a deal done before Ramadan.
That deal should include a halt to the fighting by both sides, the return of all hostages to families who have been desperate and without even proof of life for months, and a surge of humanitarian aid into Gaza.
