Ellie Holcomb Instagram – To be honest y’all, I cried when I read this Psalm today. May is crazy. I’ve been talking about it here on Instagram this week, trying to be real, trying to hopefully make other people feel less alone. And the stress that comes with ending a year and beginning a new season. I needed desperately, though, to be reminded of the grace and compassion that God has. I need grace and compassion for myself, for all my people, and it was so sweet to be reminded that God has grace and compassion with me, even when I am not slow to anger. Even when my patience is running thin, and the cortisol is pumping through my veins. If you are stressed, anxious, angry, overwhelmed, I am here to say in this little corner of Instagram that you are not alone. Wherever you are on the scale of emotion on the scale of stress, God is there to meet you and he is rich in love. Grace. Compassion. This is good news for my stressed out heart today.
