Erica Chidi Cohen Instagram – i think about this often but especially during #blackmaternalhealthweek, which is happening right now. solving the maternal health crisis in america will require multiple scalable interventions and @birthfund, which launched this week, is a perfect example of what we need more of. @birthfund matches individual funders with families in need of midwifery care and birth support across the country through an “each one reach one” community care model. these types of models are crucial, because they operate outside of the medical industrial complex, center midwifes and promote physiological birth.
