Given the type of pushback against this fundamental right in several parts of the world, and even the censorship of information around this right, it is so important that we advocate for it, and that more of us are able to share our own experiences without fear of judgement or shame. Kalki also spoke of how important it is for one’s partner and family to support and be there for you if you’re going through this— too often women are left to deal with this stuff with no support at all. Accidental pregnancy can happen to anyone. Ab0rtion is so common that there’s definitely folks amongst you and your friends or family and me and my friends or family who will have had one— even if we have no idea.
