Katie Melua Instagram – I love playing live so much it’s kinda stupid. And yet it’s still weirdly harrowing getting up on stage, doing that strange magic of singing in front of people, I know it could be just a fun night out, but the stakes always feel high.
We’re only doing one show in Germany this summer, I don’t wanna miss Sandro growing up, I’m trying not to let the thought that we’re doing fewer gigs mean the machine isn’t as well oiled, I tell myself, every song I’ll be lucky enough to perform this summer will feel more vivid, more vibrant.
Sometimes my whole being actually transforms through the act of singing.
