Kelsey Barnard Clark Instagram – For the love of white paint !!! This kitchen at our beach house was not ideal when we bought it, but neither was a renovation so I’ve had to get crafty to make it feel more “me”. I wanted everything in this house to feel calm, cool & reflect the colors of the beach. The pale green vintage @etsy oyster plates were the anchor vision for this space. Having something that keeps you centered in design & life is always crucial .
We hired someone to paint, then the rest (and prep) was all on us . Removed the upper cabinets replaced the sink, light fixtures, oven, cooktop & hardware. YouTube can literally show you how to do this all but my sister @hillbarnardowen is better. Last step was filling in everything with beautiful @williamssonoma china & glassware in soft greens .
I love taking what I’ve got and seeing what I can do with it. This place is my therapeutic getaway- my tangible
reminder that any dark thing can become the light 🤍.
