María Dueñas Instagram – On June 7th 2024, Platoon releases ‘Revolución diamantina: an album of orchestral works by Mexican composer Gabriela Ortiz,’ performed by the LA Phil (@laphil) and Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel (@gustavodudamel). The album includes Ortiz’s new violin concerto, ‘Altar de cuerda,’ performed by María Dueñas (@mariaduenasviolin). As part of LA Phil’s European Tour, Maria performs the work in Paris tonight @philharmoniedeparis and at London’s @Barbicancentre on June 2nd. ‘Altar de cuerda’ is available now on all streaming platforms.
