for all my babes who don’t have a relationship with a parent/s- I trust that you are doing the absolute best thing for yourself. I believe you. It’s not easy. You’re not being ridiculous. You’re not unlovable. You don’t have to “fix” it. You deserve more and you deserve to give yourself more. Every connection might not be conditional, but every relationship is. So, if you have to be your own Dad today, just make sure you’re being exactly the Dad you need.
