Raquel Castro Instagram – I find power in the idea that certain people only know what I choose to allow them to see about myself. There are few people who get 100% access to me. As I get older I get more and more protective of my energy. I used to allow everyone access to the deepest parts of me only to find myself in a puddle of disappointment, distrust & anxiety. I don’t trust easily, but when I do, know that it’s full of loving, pure, genuine intentions. Not to say that I don’t enjoy socializing and meeting new people. I do. I’m somewhat of an introverted extrovert and I’ve learned to embrace that. When I love, I love deeply. I’ve let too many situations and people drain me to my core, to the point of me not even recognizing my own reflection in the mirror. Spread love, be a light, and
