I’ve honestly never done a cover or recorded myself singing and liked how it sounded. It’s not very forgiving. But what the fuck. Music isnt about perfection. I’ve never thought I had a great voice, I just loved writing songs and wanted to sing to express myself. So I’m just gonna be honest about that. Male lead singers of bands tend to have so many ‘flaws’ to their voices that give them character, while it seems most female vocalists have to have pretty perfect pitch and tonality to get anywhere. Kind of a weird double standard.
