We got to enjoy your kind beautiful soul. We were charmed by your endless talent as you serenaded us; playing the guitar, fiddle and violin! We got to laugh at your interesting choice of made up “Spanish” words and perfectly balanced inappropriate humor. We marveled at your genius as one of the best mechanical engineers, though you were nothing but humble. I’m told you’ll be in history books for it and after all the deep conversations we’d have late into the night about life, history and your pure love for our beautiful country- I hope you are. You were amazing and I was head over heels for you! I now know you knew that, just like I could feel how crazy you were about me. I miss your sweet smirky smile, dancing to oldies in our socks, our adventures, the safety I felt in your arms and all the simple moments in between… I know you’re in heaven and right by my side whenever I need you.
