⭐️We are pleased to announce that our 2024 Headliner is…Chef Vivian Howard⭐️
Vivian Howard is an award-winning cookbook author, tv personality, chef and restaurateur. Her first cookbook, Deep Run Roots: Stories & Recipes from My Corner of the South (2016), is a New York Times bestseller and was named “Cookbook of the Year” by the International Association of Culinary Professionals. She created and stars in @pbs shows Somewhere South and A Chef’s Life, for which she has won Peabody, Emmy and James Beard awards. Vivian’s latest endeavor, Viv’s Fridge, brings the food her flagship restaurant, Chef & the Farmer, is known for straight to consumers in smart fridge concepts dotted across North Carolina. She also owns and operates two restaurants in Charleston, Lenoir and Handy & Hot, which have been an exciting addition to the community. In October 2020, Vivian released her second cookbook, This Will Make It Taste Good: A New Path to Simple Cooking, and she’s currently a Contributing Editor with the monthly column “Country Accent” at Garden & Gun Magazine. She’s a mother on top of it all, proving her ability to be one brilliant role model and inspiration to young girls and women alike who also have dreams of being a successful entrepreneur & Mom. 🤍
