The custom-made white and black “Woman Life Freedom” gown is championing the women of Iran, Mahsa Amini, Hajar Abbasi, and Nika Shakarami, who were among the first women whose lives ended far too early in the hope of freedom after 44 years of oppression and religious tyranny under the Islamic Republic. @csiriano has long championed women and marginalized communities, and has spoken up for causes he believes in, and has fought for what he believes is right. As a now Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning actress, I can't help but reflect on the relentless pursuit that led me here. Today, as we face the @sagaftra strike, those obstacles are magnified for many young actors. The fight for fair residuals is more critical than ever as the industry grapples with insufficient compensation and the looming threat of AI's intrusion into our craft. It's not just about survival; it's about preserving the human touch, the emotion, and the authenticity that only living, breathing actors can provide. The road may be long and the challenges great, but our responsibility is to stand up for what's right. Tonight is supposed to be the longest night of the year, but to those parents whose children were killed by the regime in Iran, the longest night has been the night they have to wait for their kids to come back home after every protest. Shohreh Aghdashloo Instagram - . 🔹در مراسم باشکوه پاسداشت روز کوروش بزرگ که با حضور گسترده ایرانیان در شهر تورنتو برگزار شد، شهره آغداشلو با لحنی استوار و احساسی سخن گفت و از کوروش به‌عنوان پادشاهی یاد کرد که مسیر تاریخ بشر را تغییر داد. 🔹خانم آغداشلو با درود به شاهزاده رضا پهلوی و میهمانان حاضر، سخنان خود را با این جمله آغاز کرد: «بیش از ۲۵۰۰ سال پیش پادشاهی از پارس برخاست که مسیر تاریخ بشر را برای همیشه تغییر داد. نامش کوروش بزرگ بود. او تنها یک پادشاه نبود، او یک بینش بود.» 🔹شهره آغداشلو در ادامه، منشور کوروش را «نخستین اعلامیه حقوق بشر در جهان» دانست و تأکید کرد که امپراتوری کوروش نه با شمشیر بلکه با عدالت و مدارا برپا شد: «کوروش به جهانیان آموخت که قدرت واقعی از عدالت می‌آید نه از ترس.» 🔹خانم آغداشلو در بخش دیگری از سخنرانی خود با اشاره به سکولاریسم به‌عنوان ریشه آزادی و انسانیت گفت: «ایران او پیش از آنکه واژه سکولار معنا پیدا کند، به راستی سکولار بود. اما در گذر زمان، سیاست و دین در هم آمیختند و وقتی قدرت نام خدا را بر خود گذاشت، آزادی خاموش شد.» 🔹این بازیگر برجسته سینما و تئاتر با تأکید بر ضرورت بازگشت به راه کوروش افزود: «برای بازگشت به آن راه، ایران باید دوباره سکولار شود؛ نه دینی، بلکه آزاد. ایرانی که در آن ایمان امری شخصی‌ست نه سیاسی. که در آن موی زن میدان جنگ نیست و قانون از خرد برمی‌خیزد، نه از مذهب.» 🔹شهره آغداشلو سکولاریسم را نه دشمن معنویت، بلکه نگهبان آن دانست: «سکولاریسم دشمن ایمان نیست، نگهبان آن است، زیرا اجازه نمی‌دهد هیچ قدرتی به نام خدا صدای مردم را خاموش کند.» 🔹خانم آغداشلو با اشاره به نقش خاندان پهلوی در نوسازی ایران، در پایان گفت: «بیایید آن روح را دوباره زنده کنیم، در کنار جانشین به‌حق سلسله پهلوی، شاهزاده رضا پهلوی، سلسله ایران‌ساز پهلوی. مشعل کوروش هنوز در دل هر ایرانی آزادی‌خواه می‌سوزد. زمان آن رسیده که دوباره آن را برفروزیم — برای کرامت انسانی، برای ایرانی آزاد و سکولار.» 🔹 این مراسم در آستانه هفتم آبان، روز جهانی کوروش بزرگ با حضور صدها تن از ایرانیان، فعالان فرهنگی و اجتماعی، و هنرمندان برجسته در تورنتو برگزار شد. @thelittleiran

I will keep you posted. 🙏🏼❤️ چقدر امکان رفتن به یک عروسی در خیابان آن هم نیم ساعت پس از رسیدن به هند وجود دارد؟ تقریبا خیلی کم. در حال رفتن به مدرسه “مادر معجزه”Mother Miracle” و دیدن فرزندان همسرم و من هستم که سال هاست کفالت شان را به عهده گرفته ایم. این مدرسه را دوست عزیزم شهلا اتفاق از سال ۲۰۰۴ در هند بنا کرده است و حالا ۵۰۰ کودک در آن تحصیل می‌کنند. پیش از آن که سرزنش ام کنید باید بگویم که در ایران هم به همین اندازه فرزند داریم که کفالت شان را به عهده گرفته ایم، اما متاسفانه نمیتوانیم به دیدارشان برویم

The custom-made white and black “Woman Life Freedom” gown is championing the women of Iran, Mahsa Amini, Hajar Abbasi, and Nika Shakarami, who were among the first women whose lives ended far too early in the hope of freedom after 44 years of oppression and religious tyranny under the Islamic Republic. @csiriano has long championed women and marginalized communities, and has spoken up for causes he believes in, and has fought for what he believes is right. I will keep you posted. 🙏🏼❤️ چقدر امکان رفتن به یک عروسی در خیابان آن هم نیم ساعت پس از رسیدن به هند وجود دارد؟ تقریبا خیلی کم. در حال رفتن به مدرسه “مادر معجزه”Mother Miracle” و دیدن فرزندان همسرم و من هستم که سال هاست کفالت شان را به عهده گرفته ایم. این مدرسه را دوست عزیزم شهلا اتفاق از سال ۲۰۰۴ در هند بنا کرده است و حالا ۵۰۰ کودک در آن تحصیل می‌کنند. پیش از آن که سرزنش ام کنید باید بگویم که در ایران هم به همین اندازه فرزند داریم که کفالت شان را به عهده گرفته ایم، اما متاسفانه نمیتوانیم به دیدارشان برویم
