Ben Schamma Instagram – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s „Eivor“ Cosplay Showcase ✨ Time to show you some details of the cosplays we made over the last few years. Sometimes I feel like we don’t really get to see all the tiny little things that add to a cosplay’s overall look. If you follow me for a longer time, you know how much we enjoy to recreate every small detail we can find on the reference pictures.
We made two Eivor cosplays for the release of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in 2020 and so much work went into these! It was a real challenge because we don’t use animal products for our work so we had to find new ways to make stuff look like leather oder very realistic fur.
This was our first time using EVA foam by @cosplayshop.be to get a realistic leather look. We were used to working with fake leather fabric but when you build armor pieces, you need thicker material and EVA foam works just fine. 💪🏻
These cosplays required days and days of decorative hand-stitching and we even had to sew our own shoes. 😅
It all came together beautifully, especially after some hardcore weathering and battle-damage action.
Even though these cosplays are already 4 years old, we’re still super happy with the result and I love to put on Eivor for conventions.
