Christian Kane Instagram – Wanted to talk about this kid, Tate Myre for a while but couldn’t find the words. But I’m going to give it a shot because it weighs heavy on my heart and some of you have stated the same. You know, I go to work and I put on different hats, people filter in the smoke and set up mirrors, and I get to step into the shoes of someone I really love and play Eliot Spencer. I get to be an unlikely hero. When I heard his story one of the first things I could say after feeling what we all felt and drying my eyes was “This guy is a true hero, he’s the real Eliot Spencer” he didn’t take off his cape at the end of the day. Talking to my friends, some you know, some you don’t, we all agreed that we just pray we could have an ounce of what he had when faced with a situation like that. My heart goes out to his family and the families of Madisyn Baldwin, Hana St Juliana, and Justin Shilling. I’m still not sure if I found the right words but I knew some time had gone by and a few of you were hurting like a lot of folks. I thought it might be nice to honor and remember him this weekend over family and football. He loved both as well. I hope I get to meet you one day Tate….
