Costa Georgiadis Instagram – Todays Plant of the Day is this sweet Rhipsalis pilocarpa child of mine that lives on my bathroom window sill. It is also known as hairy stemmed Rhipsalis. Perched up there it gets a full day of sunshine on this north facing aspect and it loves it up there. I picked it up off a plant specials trolley at a nursery and it was desperately seeking some love so I put it up there and it flowered for the first time this time last year. The only thing was I missed the special moment and only noticed when I came home after being away for awhile and they was a carpet of dried up flowers on the shower floor. So this is the second flowering and I was home to catch it. Yay to this indoor housemate of mine Do you have anything flowering for the first time or anytime for that matter.
