David Göttler Instagram – Day 3: one thing that was challenging about this year’s climb was just how unstable and changeable the weather was. On this morning @tiphaineduperier , #Boris and I woke up to a cloudless sky and zero wind. I was even tempted to abort the summit attempt just to be able to fly down from 7000m! 😉 But the desire to try for the summit was stronger so I continued up with the other. Within a couple of hours the weather had turned quite nasty and gusty so we were pretty happy to get the tents pitched beneath a large rock at 7400m and hunker down for a few hours.
