20 years ago, I booked my first Hollywood gig. I was thrilled. Then terrified as I would be acting opposite a giant. That unmistakable voice, that mischievous glint in the eyes. All I could see was the man who whistled down an Irish wolfhound in The Eagle Has Landed. What a treat it was. Sad to learn that the giant has left us. RIP, Donald Sutherland. You, sir, were a true legend.
In 2001 I wrote and performed a one man show about an escapologist whose act was stolen by Houdini. 23 years later I got to meet his rightful heir, the incredible @davidblaine. (Thanks to Mr Weisz for orchestrating things).
