Hay una frase que ha sido bandera y que hoy lamentablemente tenemos que enarbolar en un contexto que cada día se hace mas parecido al que la originó. Cuando a la luz del mundo se supo de las atrocidades que se habían cometido durante el proceso de la dictadura militar, las historias de horror, de tortura, el robo de niños, el plan sistemático de exterminio de ciudadanos y de ideas, cuando ya no pudieron ocultar mas los resultados de tanto odio y violencia, hubo un momento en que en primer lugar, el pueblo dijo: Basta! Madres, sobrevivientes, abuelas, hijos, activistas de derechos humanos, hombres, mujeres, de distintas corrientes políticas, diversos grupos sociales, a través de su incansable lucha y con el acompañamiento, ya en aquel momento, de prácticamente todo nuestro pueblo, coincidieron en terminar con el terrorismo de Estado y sus perpetradores. Con ese “basta”, la población logro que los responsables de ese genocidio fueran juzgados, condenados y encarcelados por sus crímenes de lesa humanidad. Pero junto con esa palabra vino la frase que hoy, 24 de marzo quiero recordar. Ante la conciencia de lo ocurrido, quedo grabada, y para siempre. Nunca más! No hay diferencias partidarias , ni planes económicos, ni frases mesiánicas, ni necesidad de cambio que justifique bajo ningún aspecto, un retorno a la violencia, a la deshumanización, a la pérdida de derechos que tanto ha costado conseguir, a la naturalización del odio, al borrado de nuestra historia, de nuestra identidad, al abandono de la memoria, de la búsqueda de la verdad y la justicia. Por eso hoy, mas que nunca: Nunca Más! 🇦🇷

I’m so happy and grateful to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. We’ve had such incredible days in Köln (Cologne), Germany. I was invited to participate in talks about music in films and series, particularly in Liebes Kind (“Dear Child”), a @netflix series in which I was involved in the creation of the soundtrack together with @juanxluqui and it remains among the most viewed on the platform. Having spent these days in Germany with this important recognition is truly wonderful. 8. Volker Bertelmann, winner of the Academy Award for the soundtrack of “All Quiet on the western front” has given me the Life time Achievement Award. 9. Michael P. Aust is director of @soundtrackcologne and See the Sound Festival 10. Christoph Becker of Constantin Film Music, Supervisor in charge of the project “Dear Child” Thank you @soundtrackcologne for everything you have done for me. Blessings! And hope to see you soon
