Ian Nelson Instagram – A HUGE sign of immaturity I see in business: egoic ownership over ideas 😵💫🤢🤮
Even worse than being territorial over ideas within a business is being dangerously loyal to a bad idea because:
A) you’ve already done all the work on it
B) because it’s your idea and that should be good enough
Good ideas should able to withstand countless hard discussions. Whether the idea for a new creative direction or hire is your idea or your colleague’s, just make sure it’s a good idea that actually brings value to the company and/or client 💯
