I’m genetically bottom heavy so building an upper body took time. ✨The first slide was the last time I walked on stage for a competition; I was on my period retaining water; early 30 , 5’1 and 145lb ✨That year I realized this was as far as I could take my physique w/o chemical substances and I was adamant about not taking any. So l hung up my towel. ✨The last photo was a picture of me a few weeks after my competition. I was softer & more feminine. ✨I never stoped working out. Now at 40 i have a leaner 8 healthier body than when I competed. Working out is part of my lifestyle. I love it. I train for healthy now, not a body type. #fitnessjourney #fitness #workout

Not so fun fact; although muscle won’t turn into fat; it can give away a flabby appearance when you lose size/mass. For the last decade I’ve stuck with mostly body weight exercises at home which works wonders. Whoever, as I get closer to 40 (in September) I’m seeing some of those changes in my arms & back. I needed someone like @diego.coachfit to reprogram my brain bc whenever I train alone at the gym my brain always goes back into beast mode going heavy. I started competing in the body building world in my mid 20s up until my early 30s. I kept training but differently throughout the years . It’s a lifestyle and I love it. At 40 I work out for health & flexibility more than aesthetics. I took off 6 months and put on healthy weight after I got my implants exchanged last September.
