Despite me feeling a bit under the weather—the enthusiasm and love from the fans was so terrific and uplifting—I can’t thank y’all enough. I hope to return to the part of the US which has by far the most polite fans I’ve ever encountered. Everything was ‘thank you, sir,’ ‘most kind of you, sir’, ‘yes, sir’…even when the one fan asked during the panel: ‘back when you were in your prime…’ he added ‘I’m sorry, sir’ at the end. 😎 Can’t beat southern hospitality 😜🤓 here’s a glimpse at what transpired over a full day of signings, snaps and sketches!

Pic 3 is a photo a fan brought of our first signing over 30 years ago back in Charlotte, North Carolina. Or what I call the Prime Years 🫠. Slides 4,5 and 6 are of the Joker…a typical subject matter choice for my usual Q&A sketching panels. Except this time, I drew it as if Superman was looking through his head using his X-ray vision. Congrats to the winner who happened to have a lucky screwdriver on him for the random lotto win!
Last two are my first time (and I predict only time) drawing our 26th President and my first on Homelander lol. Apologies to the fans whose pictures I grabbed from their feeds. Thank you all again for your kindness and love for comics! #comicon #sccomicon
