José Andrés Puerta Instagram – WCK’s Chef Samar is in Khan Younis where today we began operations at our newest Field Kitchen. Meals from here will be distributed to Palestinian families sheltering in southern Gaza. Named Zomi’s Kitchen in honor of one of our team members killed in the April IDF attack, this space joins our Deir al-Balah and Al-Mawasi kitchens as our third large-scale kitchen currently in operation. Our team was forced to stop cooking at our first Field Kitchen in Rafah as attacks on the city intensified.
