Life is throwing curveballs as we’re currently weathering a season of loss(es). No way I have any words to articulate yet, my heart just yearns specific things right now and one is to create. This piece was a spontaneous reaction, but a step in processing. When @mar.omin’s “When I’m Gone” came on shuffle it struck so hard in that moment that Mari and I just started shooting. God knows our souls needed it. And will still need more. I’m good, we’re good… in fact we’re freaking blessed and full of gratitude. But all this to just share in real time that it’s far from pretty all the time. Inhale. Exhale. Keep going.
