The loss is a hard one but Mum was surrounded by all her Grandkids, her Children & their partners. All of us held together by Love & Prayers coming from people like yourselves. The sun sets on one chapter and rises on another. Here’s to the sunsets in our lives. And here is to new beginnings.

Over the last four years, since March 17th of 2020, a merry band of brothers and (mostly) sisters have been gathering here on Instagram in a group we fondly refer to as The Polaha Chautauqua. Seasons change and what was designed to be an escape from the pandemic and a very scary world turned into a haven of hope and community that kept on growing and going. We talked about the meaning of life and how our stories fit into it and each others’. I learned a lot. More than I can put down into words in this post. The #polahachautauqua deserves its own book or a tv show or a doc. A format that really helps the world understand what happened here on this actor’s little page. I would LOVE it if you could take the time to tell me what the Polaha Chautauqua has meant to you. And please share this with someone else who you think would like to contribute. I’m closing the doors to the live shows – for now – but I encourage you who have found community to carry on the message and mission of the Chautauqua – to be warriors of light in a dark world. To love one another. Thank you for sharing your stories with me. Thank you for joining me live, thank you for shining light into my life. Today’s Polaha Chautauqua Live in Nashville, Tennessee was a HUGE success. We celebrated a birthday and an anniversary and each other in a very special way. Thank you to @juliannepolaha for co-hosting with me and for @thisiseileens for helping make the day run so smoothly. Today’s success gives us the promise of more #polahachautauqua live events to come – all over the world! I just love getting to meet the folks I entertain and who are so passionate about my work.
