Lee Hsien Loong Instagram – Grassroots leaders, volunteers, various corporate and community partners, as well as PA staff, have long played an important role, engaging residents and strengthening the community through numerous programmes and initiatives. Glad to meet a group of them at an appreciation reception after the @peoplesassociation Board Meeting today.
The PA’s mission is as relevant today as ever – to build bridges among different groups and communities, in order to achieve “One People, One Singapore”. PA played a crucial role during the COVID-19 pandemic, a reminder of the importance of social cohesion and trust between the government and its people. I am confident that PA will continue to help build a stronger, more united Singapore for many years to come. – LHL
