[🪩LEISURE] – HAPPY PRIDE MONTH – Coming out is synonymous of liberation. It’s giving ourselves the possibility to live free, without ties. Only in this way we can become our true selves. Everything till then was just a construct for survival. A violent omission for its bearer. Coming out is the beginning of truth. It still annoys me we have to do it. Like a bad news announcement. I hate it. However it is so important that we do it. That we are able to show our true colors. And it’s also important that people realize that nothing changed. We are alike. Maybe lighter cause we stopped lying. What comes next is a beautiful rediscovery of who we are. And at some point we start wearing our true colors on our chest. Proudly. During this Pride month I wish that everyone is able to live freely in their true skin and that our community finds the peace and acceptance that always longed for. [🪟HOME] – BUILDING THE CALL ME BY YOUR NAME POOL – In 2017, alone, in a small cinema room in the middle of Stockholm, at the time during the Stockholm Film Festival, I watched a movie that stroke such a note on my heart and mind that changed forever the way I see myself and the world. It was so relatable that really made me feel so seen and normal. It reminded me when I was growing up in the countryside of Portugal and that slow life eating fruits, riding my bike, always naked 😂🥰 I wanted to pay homage to that movie and during last year’s Christmas, my parents and I decided to start building the Call Me By Your Name pool. [👕CLOTHING] – 3 SPRING FASHION TRENDS – when the season turns, we know two things are coming: warmer weather (we hope) and jazzy new clothes. Spring, in particular, tends to be full of colors, innovative mix-and-matching and unusual embellishments. These are 3 trends coming this season: WORKER CORE – Structured garments with roots in workwear have been around for a while and they’re now evolving to more distressed or slightly off kilter. The pieces are still functional, but they lean more towards style than substance. KNITWEAR AND JEWELS – Knitwear is now a fashion omnipresence and jewelry is getting there too. Jewels are now a case of the more you can clink on, the better. After all, they are something you wear on top of the clothes on your body, so it’s another opportunity to get creative. VARSITY TEAM – The new high-school sports-inspired look, varsity fashion, isn’t the stuff of clean-cut, popular kids. The bombers are neat and tidy, the pleated trousers have a baggy drape and hoodies harken to collegiate gift-shop wares. Hope it helps ❤️🥰
