Lyle Lovett Instagram – The Large Band and I are officially on the road. Thanks to @jamielenfestey for getting us started in Albuquerque last night. The audience was stellar, as were our special guests @billhearnemusic and Doug Hudson and Russell Fory, from @bandgeckos. The Large Band and I are excited to be in Telluride tonight for the @telluridebluegrassfestival. Riding the bus across West Texas through Marfa, Valentine, and Van Horn to Albuquerque was a great way to ease into road life. I still love to look at the world through its windows. My friend and hero @michaelmartinmurphey puts it all in perspective in one of my favorite songs, West Texas Highway. Thanks, Murph.
