Manav Kaul Instagram – Each gesture which goes unnoticed on the stage is in itself the very essence of that play. What we understand, we can never really feel and what we feel can never really be explained. Somewhere in between resides a stage of ambiguity where we struggle to make sense of our relationships with people we love and eventually with ourselves.
Yesterday @manavkaul ‘s Tumhaare Baare Mein was performed at the 14th Windermere Theatre & Literature Festival and his play left its audiences with too many questions and very few answers. We were awestruck by the intensity of each movement that took place on that stage, for it contained the meaning of our own lives in the form of a fiction which felt too real at times.
That’s the magic of theatre and literature. It reminds you how brief your existence is…how brief are the duration of the connections we make while we are alive on this planet.
Plays like Tumhaare Baare Mein are such heartwrenching beautiful reminders about the importance and futility of life itself.
