Prentis Hemphill Instagram – I remember marching on the 60th anniversary of the Nakba (the Catastrophe in Arabic), heartbroken, but understanding probably just a fraction of what the day meant for Palestinians.
We’re here now here at the 76th anniversary and witnessing more devastation that I would have thought possible. Many thousands fleeing, many, many thousands dead. Colonization is a terror that tries to leave you with nothing, tries to put you in the past.
