A.It was incompetence
B.Allowed to happen by a ‘’Deep State’’
C.A setup by Trump
If I was to have to put all my money on one of them of course I’m going with incompetence.But the fact that B and C are even a serious talking point across dinner tables around the world is a very sad indictment of current affairs.
We instinctively know we can’t trust the media.Fear,conflict and division sells.In essence it’s not their fault.
Yesterday, I went out with my family, we bought ice creams
None of the signs of the fabric of western civilisation falling apart were apparent.Just pistachio ice cream and a blue flavoured slushy.
We are of course incredibly fucking lucky to be living where and how we live.
I totally get there is a lot of the world that are going through hell.
And for those of you that are my words of condolence here would seem hollow.
Nevertheless for what it’s worth I send positivity and hope.
Regular visitors of my comment section let me know if the culture wars or anything we are being fed through fear and manipulation in the media affected your day yesterday?As in physically affected you not psychically.
The cost of living is friggin terrifying and doesn’t look like abating any time soon.That I’m guessing is the main world crisis effecting EVERYONE on a day to day.
But what I’m naively trying to get at is this
Currently I/we have 3 sick parents and a dog that we love who’s about to die.
Our friends that we’re with right now. One of them just had a big operation and her husband/my friend’s Dad passed away recently.All massive events.None of them headline or culture war related.Just massive human traumatic events.
What I’m saying is,we have enough on our plates to worry about the uncontrollable.
Go get an ice cream and give those you love a cuddle.
