I’ve came to this lake every summer of my life. When I started college, my Dad suggested I spend the summer there as he said, “it would change my life.” He was right about that. The lake has always been my place of peace, I’ve met some of my best friends there, met and married my wife there, and made so many great memories there.
After my Dad passed away, I decided to step up and fill my Dad’s roll by helping my Mom open the house and get it ready for the lake season. This is my 2nd year in a row doing this. I love getting to spend the time with my Mom, getting to feel my Dad’s presence, and learning a lot about myself in the process.
Super proud of my Mom for her strength and dedication to continue living life and keeping the Lake Life a place for all of us to enjoy. Shoutout to my lake friends, Lois, and my father in law who helped lend a hand with some of the work.
