Back when I was in Singapore in June, I got to hang with my grandma, or as we called her, Por Por. For the first time in my life, I managed to tell my grandma about the stand-up career, managed to pay for lunch with the money I made from it, and listened as she told me to find a girlfriend in the UK, but not a white one. I just got word she has just passed. She was a phenomenal woman who went through a lot in her life, raised her children through it all, and loved fried chicken. Love ya, Por Por.

There is a belief I heard, that you don’t truly have an #EdFringe show till you’ve performed it to less than 4 people. Folks, I now have an #EdFringe show. Thanks Dion and Maria for being the champagne to my ship, christening it as it hurtles towards the last preview and the festival. I did a more ‘behind the scenes’ conversational version of the show, and it was delightful. Even gave out free copies of my new merch.
