Sam See Instagram – Back when I was in Singapore in June, I got to hang with my grandma, or as we called her, Por Por. For the first time in my life, I managed to tell my grandma about the stand-up career, managed to pay for lunch with the money I made from it, and listened as she told me to find a girlfriend in the UK, but not a white one.
I just got word she has just passed. She was a phenomenal woman who went through a lot in her life, raised her children through it all, and loved fried chicken.
