Scott Porter Instagram – Waited a long time to snag this pair… the #TokyoMaze, representing the train system in Tokyo. A place I lived and worked in for a full year. A city I have long held in my heart as an incredibly special place.
This pair is from the “On Air” #AirMax collection. Six pairs were created by six local designers from around the world to represent their respective cities: New York, London, Paris, Seoul, Tokyo, and Shanghai.
This pair was designed by Yuta Takuman and are based upon the labyrinth of Tokyo’s surface streets with hits of the Tokyo Subway system in the colors connecting them through the laces. The air bag has a nod to the Tokyo Tower. Incredible shoes. Had to rock them below ground (albeit on an infinitely smaller subway system) for this #FreshKicksFriday.
