This Gumball didn’t stand alone. Wanna give a shout out on this Team Tuesday to #TeamGumball, the incredible squad of people that made my time on the #MaskedSinger so wonderful! People ask “How many folks know it’s you under the costume”? The answer is only a handful, and they do a TON of work to make sure it stays that way. (Scroll right to see the clothes we gotta wear when not in costume to keep us a secret) Team Gumball was 2 Producers, 1 Sound Tech, 2 Costumers, 4 PA’s, the Uber talented music producer responsible for the instrumentals, and 1 awesome vocal coach…and of course, Mrs. Gumball! Y’all, they made me feel so comfortable and supported the whole way through. Phenomenal human beings all the way around. They kept me sane, they were therapists (haha) m, and they are all top class at their jobs. So I gotta say a special thank you to: Erica, Nate, Alisan, Miguel, P (knuckle sandwiches!), Ziggy, Darius, Anthony and Jess, Gordon, and Christy! Outside of TG, the only other people who knew my identity were the awesome crew that built and fitted the mask, the social media squad, the casting office and, of course the creator and executive producers. I think the total of people who knew was around 15-20 peeps. That is it. Not even the choreographers, camera operators, staging specialists, art directors, or directors of the show know who is under the mask! It’s crazy they accomplish this year after year. Bonkers. Oh…and alllllll of them are true talents at their crafts as well. So thank you to the whole @maskedsingerfox crew, both those who knew me and those who didn’t!!!! Y’all are incredible.

Waited a long time to snag this pair… the #TokyoMaze, representing the train system in Tokyo. A place I lived and worked in for a full year. A city I have long held in my heart as an incredibly special place. This pair is from the “On Air” #AirMax collection. Six pairs were created by six local designers from around the world to represent their respective cities: New York, London, Paris, Seoul, Tokyo, and Shanghai. This pair was designed by Yuta Takuman and are based upon the labyrinth of Tokyo’s surface streets with hits of the Tokyo Subway system in the colors connecting them through the laces. The air bag has a nod to the Tokyo Tower. Incredible shoes. Had to rock them below ground (albeit on an infinitely smaller subway system) for this #FreshKicksFriday. I have had the New York (another city I have called home) pair for quite some time, but these escaped me when the drops first happened. So glad to have added them to the collection.
