Seamus Dever Instagram – I was cast as the best friend/antagonist in a movie called Ready or Not back in 2006 and had an unbelievable time with Christian Oliver, Jonathan Murphy, and Evan Helmuth. Christian was one of the producers and somehow him and Sean Doyle and Minor Childers got SAG to allow us to shoot in LA and Mexico and Las Vegas . It was a “bachelor party gone wrong” caper that predated the hangover movies and it was clever and funny. In Hollywood friendships, you always think you’re going to have another shot at working with these great people again but time has a way of altering things. And social media gives you the false feeling that you haven’t actually lost touch with them. So we lost Evan a few years back and now tragically, Christian with his daughters. Such a tragedy.
