So damn proud, baby girl bought her first home! Thank you so much to @seth_d_wright for walking her through this process and to her dad @tjlavin for giving her a reasonable interest rate and mortgage she can afford all on her own! She’s always had an incredible work ethic and had a job since she was 15yrs old. She put herself through Paul Mitchell School all on her own and has saved for her first house ever since. I remember her working 3 jobs at once and going to school. It’s bittersweet as my baby girl is moving out but so excited for her. We love you more than you can possibly imagine and proud of the human and woman you are @raquel_roxanne ❤️

We thought Ride readers would appreciate some photos that were not always vibrant Fuji colors, so I shot a couple rolls of weird film at the MTV contest in TJ’s backyard in ‘99. One image looked like a cover, except the whole thing was blue. I asked TJ if I could come back to shoot a few more photos, and he was 100% down. I never said “cover”, but that didn’t matter. TJ rode wide open no matter what. So I did another trip to Vegas to shoot the same photo, but with the right film. Long live Velvia.
