T.J. Lavin Instagram – We thought Ride readers would appreciate some photos that were not always vibrant Fuji colors, so I shot a couple rolls of weird film at the MTV contest in TJ’s backyard in ‘99. One image looked like a cover, except the whole thing was blue. I asked TJ if I could come back to shoot a few more photos, and he was 100% down. I never said “cover”, but that didn’t matter. TJ rode wide open no matter what. So I did another trip to Vegas to shoot the same photo, but with the right film. Long live Velvia.
