Hit a PR today and broke an hour running a 10k!! 🥹😭🙌🏽🏃🏽♀️ 9:39 min/mile and shaved off 4 minutes from my last 10k!
Story time: I had hit Mile 5, in the home stretch, and @mileycyrus song ‘We Can’t Stop’ came on my run playlist and I said a Hey Siri skip song but she didn’t skip. So I asked again Hey Siri Skip Song and she still didn’t do it. I was feeling tired and was about to yell at Siri haha but then it hit me, THIS is the song I needed to hear and when I accepted it, everything changed. We can’t stop baby! Let’s go! It’s like a got a second wind. I picked up the pace and I felt like the Terminator on a mission. 😂😂
Anyway, super proud of myself cus there’s nothing like starting the day off with a quick 10k haha. Shout out to @gritendurance & @coachjiml inspiring me to keep going! 💪🏽🏃🏽♀️

I was talking to a friend and I couldn’t help notice the similarities in what so many of us are going through. It’s a season of Chapters Closing and New Beginnings.
