just started throwing stuff together!

So let’s get into this gear and jacket. So, it was a distaster trying to find fabric for this gear. One thing about being in a tag team is its not just about you anymore… also you have to know what your opponents are wearing and respectfully you try to stay away from it…ALSO IM NOT trying to be like anybody else. So BOOM! I find fabric… and NOPE somebody already is doing it! So on the search we go again but at this point we are 4 days away from flying out so options are thin! But THANK YA JESUS WE FIND A FABRIC THAT WILL COME IN TIME! We find a beautiful purple/green metallic scale fabric…. It gets delivered… I opened it… and WOMP WOMP the fabric is dull and just looks black… AND I HATE IT! Epic Fail! So, at this point I am already mentally defeated! I started the gear telling my Husband “this gear is about to be trash… I don’t even know how to spice this up”… so I decide Ima be a DRAGON and I’ma just have to work some magic with the jacket!
I find this beautiful metallic toy dragon online. I have NO IDEA what I am going to do with it, I find some interestign black fabric and some colorful jewels and chains to try to spice this basic dull fabric up and I get to work ✂️🧵🪡
I made a top… hated it… started over… but once I got rolling I never stopped!
I made the gear in a day and the jacket in about an hour or 2!
I stepped back after I was finished and was like whoa! I have no idea how this started or ended but here we are!
You never know what you’re capable of until you just START AND TRY!
