I have had a steady stock of walnut basil pesto in my fridge, smeared that on some Italian bread, grabbed a couple of spoonfuls of leftover cherry tomato bruschetta, layered on fresh mozz (don’t tell Siena I ate it all), and some sweet soppressata. Now that’s a mid day pick me up!
