Jen Gunter Instagram – What does an atheist do an Easter weekend? Go see Easter Parade at a cinema that had been returned to its splendor and charges $3 for the largest popcorn and the largest soda! The @stanford_theatre Fred Astaire doesn’t dance, he floats. And the first dance sequence with the drums? Holy cr*p. He was 48 I think when it was made. And Judy Garland. Her voice…really…no words. And she brought this incredible fragility to the character. It was hard to not think of how she was so mistreated. There was a group there all dressed up and wearing Easter Bonnets, and that was really a great idea. I’ve decided I might need an extravagant hat or two to go with my shoes…
