Kelsey Barnard Clark Instagram – I got the first copy of my new book, Southern Get Togethers right before I left town. Y’all I am so dang thrilled to put this book out there. It’s filled to the brim with practical, never precious entertaining. Photos photobombed by dogs, trampolines, chickens, curious little faces and tiny busy hands. Supportive sisters, turned assistants, turned models for the day. Crows-feet lined laughs brought on by genuine friends who literally show up in any way to support me- que the posed dinner parties. Tables set with napkins monogrammed by my mom, silver handed down from grandmothers, glasses nicked from free flowing champagne toasts. It’s purposefully lacking refinement, constantly bringing us down to reality. The magic really isn’t in the little details y’all- it’s in the memories you make around the table and being present to truly enjoy it. Because hosting is the ultimate form of giving and then receiving love, a tradition I’m passionate about honoring and passing down to the next generation. I hope y’all look to this book as your ultimate guide in enjoying the art of hosting, the biggest cheerleader and friend to set your next table with.
