Mehreen Faruqi Instagram – We’ve left Senate Question Time today in protest because Labor AGAIN refused to support an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
It is quite frankly disgusting and shameful behaviour from Labor. Supporting the United Nations call for a ceasefire is one of the most basic steps the Australian Government could take, and yet they refuse to do so.
We need a ceasefire now. We need an end to the occupation now. We need lasting peace – NOW.
The children and people of Gaza cannot wait.
