Melanie Posner Instagram – I’ve been waiting to post this painting until I felt like I could properly verbalize what it means to me. Love bombing is sadly such a popular thing in our generation. It’s all about getting the other person and then once they have them they start to devalue them. I experienced the horrible feelings that come along with broken promises and an dealing with an emotional rollercoaster. At this stage in my life I have realized I’ve been love bombed multiple times. I have fallen for this mental abuse because I’ve longed to feel truly loved for so long. Growing up with the childhood I had I lacked comfort, attention and validation. So when someone showers it my way it’s so easy to get sucked in and believe every word. This is my personal interpretation of how that feels.
