Rosena Allin-Khan Instagram – As a doctor, I welcome every opportunity to share any medical advice that may help people, whether that’s in A&E or reaching a wider audience. Today, I was thrilled to be on @thismorning once again to talk about how to spot signs that a rash may be a concern.
In this snippet, I outline how rashes can be difficult to see on darker skin tones, often leading to delayed treatment and poorer outcomes. When looking for signs of scarlet fever, the rash can be raised and feel rough like sandpaper. Your GP should be the first port of call if you notice these symptoms and, if it gets worse, you should always go to A&E.
Thanks so much to @dermotoleary and @alisonhammond55 for having me on. | Posted on 02/Apr/2024 20:09:46
