Savannah Welch Instagram – QUARANTINGS: After dodging the big bug for 2,000 years, I just caught the damn thing & spent the past week in lone lockdown. Here’s a stupid little glimpse of the inner workings of a monkey mind. I made good friends with the birds & bees on the roof & caught every sunset. I figured out some new tricks with the robot leg. I learned a new Prine song & solved some finger pickin patterns. Enjoyed the company of dudes hard at work suspended outside the high rise, practiced winking (not at the dudes), FaceTimed with Charlie & many old pals, read books, read some scripts & dominated a new French course on DuoLingo. It was the most not-sick sick I’ve ever been and I count my lucky stars for that. Brain fog was a thing but that could also be normal life. That said, the lasting impact will no doubt be a deep reckoning with what a complete f*cking weirdo I am. Tomorrow I commence work…for 25 days straight (it’s 15 but let me be dramatic)…so ✌🏽.
