Our conversation with Melissa Joan Hart on ✨The Bright Side✨ was everything my millennial heart could have dreamed of and more. Fun fact: Melissa and her mom, Paula Hart, were producing powerhouses. Paula is the one who pitched Sabrina The Teenage Witch to network television executives. Paula even edited a sizzle reel of the show herself! @iamreginaking and @reinaking11 brought their sisterly energy to ✨The Bright Side✨ and it is hands down one of my favorite episodes thus far! We talked all about Shirley Chisholm, being sisters in business and the creative power of women’s relationships. I’m just trying to figure out how to score an invite to the family cookout 😂 Listen to The Bright Side wherever you get your podcasts!
On The Bright Side, we love to give women their flowers 💐 ✨ 15-year-old Naya Ellis may be a freshman in high school but she’s already making her mark on the medical field! Naya invented a watch that can detect the early signs of a stroke in adults over 55. The invention helped her become a champion in the national stem challenge – where she beat out 2,500 high school students. And the New Orleans native got to present her work in Washington, D.C. at the National Stem Festival. Naya, we’re so proud of you! #womeninstem
