Zali Stegall Instagram – With Olympic fever building in the lead up to the Paris Games it was wonderful hosting some of Australia’s top Winter Olympic Athletes in Parliament today to showcase their impressive achievements on the international sporting stage.
Behind the spectacular speed, precision and skills of events like moguls, luge, skeleton, snowboarding, park and pipe are hours and hours of hard work and dedication.
Thanks to the Parliamentary friends of Olympics and Paralympic Movements for co-hosting and to Sport Australia, @theais_ @snowaust and @owiaus for joining us at the event.
Wishing these inspiring athletes the very best in competition and training, I’m sure we’ll be seeing many of them represent Australia at the Milan 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
